San Antonio's Home for Homemade
Real Tortillas. Real Recipes. Real Sabor.
Family-style Mexican breakfast & lunch made fresh to order — famous for our 3-for-$3.99 mix-and-match tacos and hand-rolled flour tortillas.
Our Story
A New Name, A Familiar Warmth
La Casa Del Sabor sits at 2543 Goliad Rd, in the space long known to the neighborhood as Cowgirls — and while the name has changed, the spirit of a family-run, home-style kitchen hasn't. Every morning before the sun is fully up, our griddle is already going: tortillas de harina rolled and cooked by hand, chilaquiles verdes simmering, and coffee brewing for a cup of café de olla.
We're best known for a simple idea done right: three tacos for $3.99, and you get to mix the fillings. Regulars come for breakfast before school or work — huevos rancheros with steak, oatmeal with toast and raisins, and our tender carne guisada with a hot sauce that has real kick. Everything is cooked when you order it, so if you're in a hurry, budget a few extra minutes for food made fresh, not held under a lamp.
With plenty of parking and a small, hard-working staff that treats every guest like family, La Casa Del Sabor is the kind of place you find once and then can't stop coming back to. We hope you'll pull up a seat and let us feed you the way our own families taught us.

"Love the tacos special 3 for $3.99 AND YOU CAN MIX THEM. That's the best part. But breakfast before school and work yessss! Everything is cooked when ordered so if you're in a rush there will be a wait for fresh food."
"I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with pollo and added two eggs, and it was delicious with homemade tortillas de harina. I saw they had café de olla, so of course I had to order that too — great combo! Great service too, even though it was just her, but she kept it all together."
"Lots of parking! Very polite and excellent service. You can get 3 tacos and mix them for $3.99. My husband got the huevos rancheros with steak, I got the oatmeal with toast and raisins — it reminded me of my grandpa's oatmeal. The tortillas looked homemade and delicious."
"This was a kids carne guisada plate along with a homemade tortilla. It was very tender and very delicious. Prices are very reasonable and also hot sauce is very spicy and delicious. Definitely worth a try."
